Dress the Mannequin is a Fashion Gala event, an enchanting evening where attendees are encouraged to express their unique sense of style by embodying the spirit of the Met Gala’s iconic fashion moments. This event is to honor those individuals who have blazed new trails for and in support of the LGBTQIA+ community. The dress code is also a celebration of creativity and personal expression, so attendees will “dress the mannequin” where the mannequin is yourself, displaying your most fashionable attire, and boldly making a statement.  During the Dress the Mannequin event, social media will be flooded with images, videos, etc., of people enjoying a delightful evening of great food, awards, nice music, unique entertainment, engaging conversations, and, of course, the spectacle of creatively dressed mannequins (ie ‘you’).
